At the end of this project you will be able to:
Plan:
Develop a simple project plan for fabricating two metal tray inserts to suit the dimensions of the Wooden Toolbox Project.
Do:
- Create pattern development drawings that accurately represent the metal tray inserts.
- Safely: measure, mark out, cut fold the pattern developments for the tray inserts.
- Finish assembly of the trays using:
- spot welder
- riveting tools
- the Pittsburgh locking system.
Review:
- Verify trays against drawing dimensions.
- Fit finished trays to toolbox and verify fit and finish.

Upload a picture of your completed Metal Tray.
Include a copy of your plan
Upload and display a picture of your lay flat sheet with measured markings on it before cut out.
What went well? What would you do differently? Is there anything you need help with or want to go over again?
Add a document outlining the research you completed related to the metal materials you have used and Pittsburgh locking.
Describe what properties the material used have and why it it a good / bad choice for this project.
